MIAMI, FL — September 14, 2026 — Miami has never needed permission to lead — and fashion is next.
For too long, Miami's fashion identity has been reduced to a backdrop: a place people visit for inspiration, not one they credit for innovation. That ends today. Miami Fashion Incubator and GeN3 Media are announcing a new Miami event partnership designed to build Miami's fashion future from the inside — not wait for New York or Paris to validate it.
The event collaboration pairs Miami Fashion Incubator's track record of developing homegrown designers into full-fledged brands with GeN3 Media’s story telling and media platform.Together, the two organizations will spotlight the designers and creative talent already shaping Miami's fashion identity — and give them the visibility, infrastructure, and momentum to compete on the world stage.
Founded by Sapia Simone, Miami Fashion Incubator has spent the last three years building fashion brands from the ground up — branding, design, manufacturing supervision, and launch and distribution strategy — for a new generation of designers, many arriving in Miami from Central and South America. Under this partnership, GeN3 Media will bring that work to a wider audience, documenting the designers, the process, and the city's growing fashion culture as it happens.
