After over a decade of publishing No.3 Magazine in New York, against the endless narrative that print is dead — COVID hit, I planned my exit strategy and I moved to Miami to launch GeN3 Media, the idea of print media evolving into something immersive seemed, at least to me, to become the new standard for high-end publications; take the permanence and credibility of high-end print and connect it to the way people actually consume media today, merge the two. As the company has grown, and new partners have joined, that idea has sharpened into something more focused and more powerful. Our mission has evolved, and it’s worth noting what GeN3 is becoming — and just as important, what it’s not.

On the surface, GeN3 Magazine is what many people see first. It is a high-end print publication designed to be collected and stacked on a shelf to refer to again in the future. In an era of endless scrolling, print still commands attention in a way digital rarely does. Readers slow down. They spend time. They engage intentionally. That is not nostalgia — it is a proven behavioral difference. GeN3 Magazine embraces that reality while pushing print forward, using immersive technology to extend stories beyond the page.

But GeN3 is not just a magazine. Around the publication sits an ecosystem: a growing newsletter, a website, social channels, monthly live events, and a documentary series (Breaking Miami) slated for later this year. Together, these platforms give our partners visibility, continuity, and cultural relevance. They allow stories to live beyond the single social post or digital advertisement. They allow audiences to encounter ideas across multiple touchpoints while a brand builds an ongoing relationship with an audience.

Still, platforms alone are not the core of GeN3.

The real engine behind GeN3 is GeN3 Studio.

GeN3 Studio is where storytelling becomes immersive, where creative ideas are transformed into experiences. It is where print comes to life through video, 3D, animation, and interactive content — viewed seamlessly through a mobile device. It is where brands, artists, designers, developers, and cultural institutions can tell stories in ways that build trust and brand loyalty.

This is why GeN3 is not an agency.

Agencies are typically hired to execute campaigns that live elsewhere. GeN3 does something different. We create, publish, and distribute within our own media environment — while our partners fully own the creative assets we produce. That distinction matters. It means the content can live far beyond GeN3 across a client’s own channels, platforms, campaigns, billboards, and other publications. Engagement is designed into the story itself, not added as an afterthought.

GeN3 operates as a culture-led, story-driven media company — one that combines publishing, immersive technology, and live experiences into a single, connected system. Each part reinforces the other. A story might begin in print, extend into immersive content, be discussed at a live event, and continue digitally long after. The experience is cohesive, not fragmented.

We believe our approach also reflects how culture actually moves. Influence doesn’t come from one channel anymore. It comes from repetition, presence, and relevance across environments. GeN3 is built to support that reality — especially for partners who care about design, innovation, lifestyle, and long-term brand positioning.

As we evolve our mission, clarity becomes essential. GeN3 exists to help ideas travel further and stay with people longer. We understand that attention takes different forms: print invites time, focus, and immersion, while digital channels create immediacy and momentum. Each plays a distinct role in how stories are discovered, experienced, and remembered. At GeN3, the goal isn’t more tech — it’s better storytelling, with technology supporting it where it makes sense.—allowing stories to unfold across platforms with intention and depth.

Looking ahead, GeN3 will expand its magazine titles, its live monthly events, and its immersive capabilities. But the core mission will remain consistent: to build a media company that feels intentional in a noisy world, one that blends permanence with innovation, and culture with technology.
